CHANGE AGAIN! Important: 2nd Site change for this Friday classic team trail!
In the past hour I have had multiple people contact me about the traffic coming out of Boston on a Friday afternoon, therefor I am changing it to a pond I have wanted to fish for years! It is Lake Street Pond (Keene River) Acushnet MA. GPS address: 30 Lake Street Acushnet MA. This pond has several arms and has its own hearing run which usually means BIG BASS!
Important: 2nd Site change for this Friday classic team trail!
I have been trying to introduce us over the past 3 years to unpressured tournament sites. We have been successful but I, in good conscience, must change the site and not fish Neponset res.
This past Friday Eli and I in my boat and Jim Morey and his dad Jack in his boat, went to practice on Neponset Res. Fishing aside, the experience was not pleasant and actually cost Jim damage to his 2019 nitro ( spare tire rack). Plus the fact that disconnecting our trailers and have the marinas tractor put us in was not as easy or as quick as the marina owner convinced me a year ago – and again this past march. I cannot in good conscience, be responsible for the possible damage to my friends and fellow nation member’s boats/trailers.
This Fridays tournament (June 21st) will be held out of the Lake Street Pond (Keene River) Acushnet MA. I choice this location because of the late date which does not give us working stiffs time to practice. This body of water is new to everyone therefore, it does not give anyone an upper hand. I hope you understand my decision and anyone who went there to prefish I apologize for your loss of time but I feel this decision has to be made.
I will see you all Friday morning this is a great fishery you should all do well.
Just want to thank everyone that made it to Watuppa this past weekend. It was another tough bite for some, or just not the right bite. However there where a few that were able to make it happen.

Quaboag Lake 6/1
The Sunday team trail had its second tournament at Quaboag. We were lucky enough to have the gate open to south pond. Which gave the teams plenty of options. The fish were in a post spawn pattern making the bite slow. The teams put in a long day trying to get limits. Luckly the rain held off we had light winds as storm moved in. This helped with the bite towards end off the day.
The winning team a pair of MassMasters Mike Mello and myself had a decent bag 15.31lbs. We also were lucky enough to get lunker a 4.92 largemouth. I want to thank everyone for coming. Our next event is on the Merrimack river in Methuen I hope to see everyone there.
